Given the 93 Day Emergency Loan threshold with a Play Off Final date of May 27th would be February 24th, if we sign Boyd on or after that date he would miss Derby (H), Charlton (H), Blackburn (H) and Bolton (A). So the question is simple, if you were Steve Bruce would you sign him right now (in the hope he would be available for the Charlton game), and risk him missing the play-offs, or would you wait until Feb 24th in the knowledge he would miss these next few vital games? Now or Wait?
if we leave it for too long, some other bugger will snap him up. And we'll be left twiddling our thumbs Mr Bruce!
Biggest load of BS I have ever heard you spout http://www.footballformguide.net/form/npower-championship
Couldn't we get him now but split the loan so it works we still have him for the play offs if needed?
Do you always revert to personal insults when you're proved wrong? We're 15th out of 24 in the form table. Tell me how there is nothing wrong with our form, please.
Can there be an option where we don't get him at all, due to the fact that he isn't even a striker. He plays the same position as Koren, and is no better then Koren, so he will only be back up to Koren. Personally, I would rather use our final loan on a striker!
Oh yeah. of course I'm forgetting that there is no limit on foreign loans. Still, my opinion doesn't change; I still don't want him.
Not counting the FA Cup, we've won one game since the turn of the year and to be honest, even that game was hit and miss for us. That, for a team in joint second, is appaling. Yes we are lacking goals but there seems to be a more serious problem creeping in. Hopefully we can address it tonight and really go for the jugular. Derby have a few injuries, we can really get at them with our WB's. I also agree with John, think Koren has really fallen away since the Leeds game. Either stick him in midfield or give him a rest because he really isn't contributing where he is.
