QPR are in further talks with lyon to buy former France full back Anthony reviellere. Courtesy of the daily fail. As it seems we are being linked with every French player going, should we not just buy the country then pick and choose players whenever we want? It'll save us setting up a youth academy!!

I've wondered that too! I guess we don't like Krauts much, so we go the Frogs. The Frogs love us now, us Roas'Beef, they do! I hear the UK has the biggest French population next to France! <laugh> How the world has changed. But the French have been watching too many English-speaking films and had their interested peaked for all the wrong reasons <laugh>

I know a bit about French football and watched a few games there, (must admit some at lower level). They seem to have a good mix of players. They won the WC Back in 98 and EC in 2000 because they had a good set up, a good group. That set up was lost 2 years ago as they were typical French (arguing/ego's) a bit like Cisse, good player but goes into 'le sulk' and lets the team down.
From what i have seen of Remy i thought he was class and tbh i need to pinch myself to think he will be playing at QPR. If he can get the form of a year ago he will be class.
The only problem i see with a lot of French players is when one sulks it spreads like it did in the recent WC but when on song these players will be tops. Lets just hope we have signed an Henry and not a Cisse?
