I don't think any of us can deny there is clear bias in the early fixtures this season after all come Saturday we will have been away to 3 of last years top 6. That's a hard start for sure but what of the others from last years top 6.

    ManU just 1
    Arsenal 0
    Spurs 1
    City 0
    Everton 0

So in the first 6 weeks we play away at last years top 6 3 times whilst combined they only play 2 away.

    Clear bias? I think so.

I would agree but when a professional football manager thinks otherwise and that the fixtures are fixed who are we to deny he's right?

    Arsenal's start in 2011/12:

    Newcastle (A)
    Liverpool (H)
    Man U (A)

Then consecutive away games in October v Spurs & Chelsea.

    Liverpool's start in 2010/11:

    Arsenal (H)
    Liverpool (A)

Then consecutive away games against United and Everton.

    Norwich's finish this season:

    Liverpool (H)
    United (A)
    Chelsea (A)
    Arsenal (H)

    Moyes is a clown <ok>

    <ok>.

The thing is DL the ManU fans actually believe him. They do now think that the only reason they are level on points with Hull is because of a hard start fixed by the FA/Prem League.
In that respect he is as good as Fergie at deflecting, probably the only thing comparable with Fergie.

To be fair to United, they have had a hard start but you would still expect title challengers to pick up more than 1 point from those 3 harder fixtures. I always say beat your rivals at home and don't get beat away. United should therefore have 5 points minimum.

To try and put it down to a fix is laughable though. United not quite used to being on a level playing field post Fergie??? <whistle>

I refuse to comment on how poorly/well any team do until around November. This part of the season is by far the worst part as everyone goes OTT about what has happened so far.

And you aswell by the looks of it and I always usually stay on topic, but our start has been harder than yours but I don't mind it as you always want the big games as early as possible but obviously we have failed with them this time.

Well we can win at Spurs I believe, and 13 points having gone to WHL, Old Trafford and Goodison is good enough for me. It means we have negotiated half of the six hardest away games of the season. Better to have the better run in I reckon than the better start

Old Trafford, Goodison Park and White Hart Lane in the first 6 fixtures + a Villa side that has only lost 2/8 of their last away games (away to United and Chelsea) and your seriously trying to say your start has been harder than ours?

Everton lost once at home all season (us), Spurs only lost once to a top half side last season (us) and United were champions last season. Throw Bayern Munich in the mix and you'll find you haven't had a harder start than us.

There's no point DL they've all been brainwashed in to believing anything the manager says no matter how wrong and stupid it is. 3 games away to last year top 6 is far harder than their start.

Madness. I thought the brainwashing prowess would have died out when Fergie left but I guess not. Then again it's the kind of mentality they'll have under Moyes. A Man that could only beat Arsenal, Chelsea, United and Liverpool 3 times each in 11 years.

Here's a thought though, maybe United could just perform in the big games. The run in at the end of the season matters more anyway, I could just as easily moan about the fixtures we've been given at the end of the the last two seasons.

You haven't even played us yet so why include it when he's clearly talking about the games played? They have had a more difficult start: Swansea, Liverpool and City are very tough away games and when you add in Chelsea, even at home, it's really tough. Villa at home's not an easy game but I'd rather play them at home than any of United's away games, Hull and Fulham at home were always likely to be routine wins like United having Palace.

Even excluding the game against you. Goodison Park is a far harder place to go to than Anfield nowadays and Old Trafford/Etihad are about the same.

Swansea haven't won a home Premier League game in yonks. Fulham also treat us as a cup final and have a good recent record at the Bridge.

just the fact moyes is moaning shows what a loser he is. does any body else remember when he made a dossier on every other club and manager and gave it to the FA?

If you're applying the cup final factor to Fulham then you have to add it to Liverpool as well. There's no way Everton away is more difficult than Liverpool away for a United side. Sorry but I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree on this but I'd have taken your start over theirs everytime.

OK, so they even out so that leaves ManU going to City v us going to ManU & Everton.

    No way is theirs easier.

Why is it a cup final for Liverpool when it's United's biggest game of the season as well?

United have won once at Goodison in the last 5 league games there, same as at Anfield.

We will have to agree to disagree, but I'd rather to go to Anfield than go to Goodison and face an Everton side that have lost only twice in their last 30 home league games. I'd also much rather face an injury plagued Liverpool side than go and play on a Monday Night against a full strength United side.

I'd swap our start for theirs tomorrow, but the bottom line is they performed poorly in both games. Neither Liverpool or City had to play that well to beat them, especially Liverpool.
