Should we change the name of Koeman's Korner?

It has been suggested that we change the title of the Off-Topic thread to something in honour of Markus Liebherr. What do you think?

 

I think yes. Something more sensible than the fun names we have had before. I liked Beefy's "The Markus Liebherr Pavilion" as it is apt and appropriate after today. My suggestion was "Markus Liebherr's Scarf" which may not be as good as Beefy's.

 

Voted for the wrong one haha. I like the Pavilion idea given the videos we have seen today.

Only if you spell it with one 'l'....get's my goat if we go with the 'll' version.

Because, proud as I am, we'll get over today eventually, and Koeman deserves his place too. Besides, I'm really comfy with Koeman's Korner. Usually, in these sort of things, I vote for what I think is best for the forum, not necessarily what I would like to happen. The vote I cast for the name change is entirely selfish. I want it to stay the same on the principle that I like it and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The club are recording Liebherr's name brilliantly. Let's leave it at that.

 

Actually, that's very well said TSS.

 

The "if it ain't broke don't fix it" really isn't what Saints of today is about though. For me, I am uncomfortable with the bit in bold. Why do you want to "get over today"? I don't want to get over today or Markus Liebherr ever. The club may well have recorded Markus' name very well, but I'd like to see it every day/ I see the forum every day, not the training ground.

As much as I like the name and love what Ronald Koeman is doing for us, he'll never, ever do what Markus Liebherr has done for us, even if he wins the league.

I'm not. But I like Koeman's Korner. Have I committed a crime by wanting that..? If Chilco hadn't suggested having a poll about it you wouldn't be asking me this question.

 

How changing the academy thread name instead?
