Anyone else remember him from his days at Portsmouth and Everton? For me we should go all out to get this lad. For me the best free agent who we could hope to attract to the club and if you disagree just watch the video below. The lad is certainly a next level player, something completely different to what we have at the club. Just watching him on that video below he would be absolutely amazing in a MoN counter attacking team, the ability the lad has with the ball at his feet and the vision, those balls he plays in behind the full back would create absolute havoc for the opposition with McClean and hopefully Hoilett as the two wingers busting a gut to get onto the ball. In our very ordinary midfield, with no pace or vision this lad would be something completely different to any central midfielder I have seen since I have been watching SAFC let alone the current bunch. Besiktas are up ***** creek and have let this lad go as well as a couple others as they cannot afford to pay there wages. Think i got a bit of an erection at the thought of us getting this lad. The skill, foot work and vision is amazing. There's parts of that video where he makes Sess look like Daryl Murphy
class isn't he mate, if he wasn't out of contract he would be well worth 10m. I would love a central midfielder like him to get the ball off the defence and make those defence splitting passes, the balls he plays in behind the full back are top class, also takes a decent set piece.

Problem with this lad is that he plays in midfield and looks for the quick pass up field to the forwards... problem is we haven't had any forwards this last year who are ever forward enough (or in the box!) to latch onto his passes!
This season we have have 2 players who are capable of carving up defences in Sess and Jimmy. In the past we've had the likes of Jones, Reid and Malbranque -even Gyan, all very hit-and-miss, but nonetheless skillful and were potentially 'golden moment' players. We definitely need more quality like this guy in the final 3rd.
