    I wouldnt normally suggest this (who would) but at the moment we need somone to protect the defence with the strength to hold players up and cause a few problems.

    Arteta is a great player suffering from being played out of position, so the question is who else do we have who could do it? If we could break the loan deal oould Frimpong be a reasonable temporary answer to this problem?

    Nope;

    1. He is not good enough by any stretch of the imagination.
    2. The system we play is not condusive to defence, we could get in Yaya Toure but it wouldn't make much difference unless there is a change in philosophy as well as tactics.

    Rumour is that Song may come back in Summer, but Frimpong will join Fulham on a free for minimal compensation as his contract expires but he is under 24.

    Frimpong strikes me as a version of Jamie O'hara or wilson palacios (after his brother died)....decent on his day...very good very occasionally but average a lot of the time. A honest pro but not top 6 class.
    On top of that Frimpong always seems to be one step away from a red card.

    YES - He's an Arsenal fan through and through. Will give his best and is a decent back DM IMO.
    Also he's still young and has the potential to get alot better.

    Yes. I think we need somebody in MF who can play DM.

    I also think he's a lot better than people are giving him credit for. He is still young and learning his trade, but he has put in some decent performances for us. His injuries have hampered his progress, but he could still go on to become a quality DM.

    Also he has that never say die attitude that we sorely need more of in the squad.

    No thanks. He is hardly going to help us when he can't even get much game time at Fulham. Also, we only have the league games left, so it's not like our squad is going to be stretched.

    Well, if you want to concede a lot of free kicks near our penalty area, you can take this wood cutter back. The guy is wearing his heart on his sleeve and kudos for that, but he is a hot head and needs at least two or three seasons to become a little bit more.. ee.. intelligent.
