stick on our noses when ever we go near a football club?

If we don't the stench of corruption could be quite overpowering.

Perhaps we should all just stay away from football altogether.

I think he may be having a bit of a dig......I only saw the the last 10 minutes of the Channel 4 programme. Sheffield United look out. Pompey you do not know how lucky you were...........Surely not again????????

Godders has a point ... There is some serious corruption at some clubs. That program was shocking. Godders just delivers his messages in his own delightful style.

 

That Channel 4 programme was ****ing disgraceful toward us and ML's takeover. Completely underhand.

The problem with journalists is that they often get wrong the facts of the matter about which you know a great deal which leaves you wondering how true are the things they say about those matters about which you know nothing.

I also agree that the nonsence about Our club and Markus was very poor journalism.

I am not sure what you mean or the relevance of your statement being as we are all talking about a programme in which the name of our wonderful club was besmirched.

 

That photograph with the nose peg looks like me when I last went to Fratton Park!

 

I totally agree, what a disgrace. They mentioned Markus Liebherr as if nobody knew him and/or knew he was dead ! If they had done their research they would have realised that he is well loved at this club and also that since his passing, his family inherited the business and they now own our club. I'm really annoyed that our name was brandished amonst others on the programme, the Liebherr family are amongst the most legitimate football club owners in England.

 

Typical reporting of this day and age ....."Headline Journalism" Controversial headlines to make you talk and disagree or agree. It's put the Channel 4 programme high in peoples minds hasn't it? Although it is not accurate about Saints perhaps, but the rest of it??

 

I think it's a great shame that football is being ruined by these people, they have exploited the sport and its fans. Made me so angry at the end when the guy said 'the fans are the headache', it's idiots like him that don't realise that the fans make football what it is, what an absolute travesty!
