As a protest against the disgusting behaviour of Argentinians, who happily burned the lovely Union Jack in protest against the UK still holding on to the important and economically sustainable, Falkland Islands, should Leeds United FC consider suspending Becchio until the Argies accept that the Falklands Island is British and proud of it.
BFB, not sure if you're stupid, ignorant, or just a brainless WUM. If Spurs could cope with having Villa & the other guy playing for them during the Falklands campaign, why would we want to suspend Becchio when the Argentinian PM is just trying to rattle a saber to distract from internal difficulties?
Well I thought it was an adequate attempt at humour and its wummery has clearly caught a few in uptight mode.
Fair enough Sheldon. Its just that some idiot opposition fans might just latch on to cr%p like this & wind Becchio up to our detriment
Why stop at petty-mindedness like that, lets go the whole (Yorkshire) hog. Following Yorkshires success in the Olympics (12th biggest medal winner) the rest of England can eff off - never mind banning Becchio, any player not born in God's County is not fit to wear the shirt. And that goes for fans too - so you can eff off for a start, BigFatBoab. And any limp wristed turncoat who spurned their Yorkshire heritage and moved south to take the southerners' shillings can go do one and start supporting some nancy boy southern team....... starting with... erm... me ............... hang on, this is getting out of control
Never really could understand our prerogative with a rock of an island on the other side of the world. Let the people there have a referendum. Job done.
Becchio strikes me as the sort of player who would relish in the abuse. Remember when Ben Alnwick tried to psych him out before his penalty against Barnsley?
Remember? How'd could anyone forget.
ok will put interning Becchio on my things to do list, just after hanging a few traitorous jocks wanting independence.
You can line up Jonny LA when you are forming a queue for the gallows - not forgiven that lot for 1776 yet.......................... ......................... though perhaps I am being too hasty as we couldn't put all our rejects in Australia, and at least a few Scots and Irish went there rather than adding to the Celtic underclass in our wonderful English cities. (If I missed anyone out there I apologise, other than to the Welsh, because I never apologise to them on principle)
Oh I didn't mean just the chip! Ben Alnwick walked up to Becchio to psych him out before the penalty, and Becchio just smiled at him, didn't say anything, then bounced the ball off Alnwick's face before catching it again.
Junior, the problem with a referendum is that the Argentinians don't want the Falkland Islanders to have one because they know the result will be almost 100% to remain British..... something the Argentine President doesn't quite get
