From politicians to footballers to all sections of society all people collectively do not take every precaution. Vaccination is not every precaution. It is a control measure.

We as a society now have scenarios where people are now double jabbed, treble jabbed ... Unvaccinated. Add allergy comorbidity, disability, myocarditis, post covid etc preventing vaccination and boosters . Society will never get to a position of having full vaccination.
That’s straying from the point somewhat. Obviously there are those that are unable to be vaccinated for various reasons, many of which you mentioned. The rest should get vaccinated and limit our social contact as much as possible, not to do both is selfish imo.

this percent is quite small and most do not venture out are in protected bubbles more so than the rest of us .... a doctor friend said " almost anyone ABLE / moving around in pubs /shops/GROUPS have no claim to be exempt from vaccine .. all his asmatic patients, some very bad/ others suffers have been done ... reality is covid affects the lungs and breathing ...... so everything helps ...

The main reason behind the vaccine is to protect the hospitals from over flowing, very little to do with spreading the virus.....The best way to stop the spread is not to mix with others i.e shops, pubs, events, work places etc.......Non essential socializing.....

I've decided not to attend on Saturday.
My wife was more worried than me - I concluded it would be selfish if I went

with almost everthing I do family comes first, especially illness, sometimes when off exploring etc I do tend to give it some thought... is the worry warranted! With Covid there is not really any cast iron rules about how it may be dangerous to you at any given time ... so not going is a good call .......

Its part of the point. Society will not become fully vaccinated. According to public health England the highest figure across age groups (50+} has been 93%.

Should and will are seperate things. Control measures, risk assessment should reflect reality. Bristol City are playing a football match.

We should be limiting social contact in order to protect other people, especially the vulnerable, attending large events such as football matches is not a good idea with the numbers of cases so high and doubling every 2 days. Yes Bristol City are playing a football match, maybe they should play behind closed doors and issue SC holders a code to watch it on BCTV, and allow others to pay to watch it like they did previously, Football should allow it for a couple of weeks until the figure start to drop.
