Thats (one of) Arsenals problems against us. Wenger likes possession, passing football. If you have players that can bully his team off the ball and aggravate them with niggly challenges and sly tackles, then it will always rub them up the wrong way. Its nothing thats against the rules, they just dont like it up em......they haven't changed in 10 years. If you have a team that can be physical, then you can always cause them trouble. The best thing about our teams under Mourinho is that (except for last year) Mourinho perfectly strikes the balance between skill and aggression, Arsenal are ALL skill where as a team like Stoke are ALL aggression, when you strike a balance between the two and can play either way, or a combination of both ways, it puts us in good stead to take on all comers.

Frankly, if violent conduct and dangerous tackles are serious enough to warrant a 3 game ban, minimum, then they shouldn't be hiding behind small, irrelevent details to avoid handing out what would be the correct punishment. Cahill and Welbeck should also be retrospectively banned but realistically in will never happen. I don't understand how that berk is considered one of our top refs, he's a joke and always shies away from giving decisions against the "top" sides. Bottling the big decisions seems to be how you make it as a top referee in the PL though.

He should get a 3 match ban for being a lousy puncher, he couldn't land one on Ivan who is 2 mts tall and had his back turned !! That said, the argument for video reviews after matches, with penalties applied for such actions, is a strong one. Caught red handed( and red faced) 3 matches for sure.
