having just seen Tom Huddlestone has had his red card rescinded. Should we now give bans to refs who make mistakes as it seems only fair as if a player makes a mistake they are punished. so if a ref makes a mistakes in a sending off and it is rescinded i think the ref should get a one or two game ban.

    sorry I can't agree
the ref should get a 3 game ban, the same as the player would of got :emoticon-0100-smile
so as Barton should never of been sent off at City in first place the ref should of been looking at a 12 game ban :smiley-finger007:

a good idea in principal but after just a few games surely we would'nt have enough ref's left to finish the season.

Yeah, and if police shoot someone by accident they should be executed, judges and juries sending the wrong person to prison should serve time, in fact a huge orgy of constant recrimination and punishment is needed now!

    Now breathe out.....

Cards would never get rescinded then. It would be like everyone was QPR.

I'd apply this to the TV pundit "experts" first. The TV companies would soon have empty chairs that they could offer to Swords, Dave T, Flyer and a few more of our top entertainment value posters!

No, I don't think it needs to be quite like that. But they need to find something that makes them improve their game. If they just get away with it then there's no incentive to change.
But maybe they should have a certain performance fund that is part of their normal pay and that gets taken away if the performance is not good. That or they play less and less important games, which would be a motivation for them to improve but wouldn't be fair on the smaller teams who would then have to suffer them.

Should refs get bans? Yes, Ray-Bans. *Ba dum tsss*

No I think those mofos should be fined so like every yellow card that wasn't even a foul they would have to pay 10 000 quids. For a fake penalty bank gets half of their house. Problem solved

What about when they make a mistake by not giving a red card?

Other than it being a red card to be out of control of your body in a tackle (he's a foot off the ground ffs) I draw your attention to the lack of a football for the player to challenge for in the picture. We got the free kick, and it wasn't even a yellow card that was given. Our player only being out for 3 months with ligament damage is lucky in the end.

ha ha how stupid.....Refs have such a hard job and have to make split second decisions under pressure.....they constantly are hounded by fans, who spout all kinds of hatred towards them and so do the players and you want to make their life even more difficult by banning them if they make a mistake.....get real.
