I think McCormack is an excellent forward when playing off someone else, and is now getting the goals for us, but it`s really hard to ignore the claims of Nunez. I know he tends to play wide and drift, but his undoubted ability and quality would work equally as well centrally. Personally I think we shouldn`t look to fix something that isn`t broken going by our last two league starting lineups v Hull and West Ham, but I`d def like to see Nunez given a go in that more direct striking role at some point.
Hello lovely Philth how you didlin’? Was gonna go yesterday but couldn’t get out of work early and then family problems occurred so it wouldn’t have been worthwhile for me to go cos my mind would have been elsewhere. Did you see RCDM?
Diddlin ok thanks, didnt see RCDM though. Nice ground they've got, defo town full of Leeds fans as well! Hope the home issues are now sorted
I dont see nunez as a striker, i do genuinely believe if he is gonna get into the team, it will be in place of either gradel or snoddy and i dont think that'll happen anytime soon. I think McCormack does a lot more than what people see as well
Hmmm..i think a trip to hospital at jimmys tonight between the hours of 6-8 is gonna be fun…not. My gran fell Monday night, could net getup and my mam found her at 12.30 the next day. So shes in hospital. I wont be going to League match I dont think either so I wanted to get Keepmoat off my list of stadiums simply because I think they MAY go down..not definite of course but they just might.
No, thought I`d say it for a really poor joke. Nothing wrong with their ground, compact and bijoux, just right for a team of their standing. Not every ground has to be the San Siro to be listed as nice you know. Pags, hope your gran gets better soon
Ta Phil me too. Just seem too often at the moment these trips to hospital and jimmy’s is a ****ing pain to get to. LGI much easier.
It's completely generic. Identikit, awful little place with no atmosphere, character or distinguishing features whatsoever. They should have stayed at Belle Vue and done it up instead of confirming their status as a tinpot club with this flatpack tickytacky stadium.
I'm not feeling very sympathetic towards Donny at the moment. Had to endure their fans' inbred rantings on the shuttle bus back to Donny, with some Hills Have Eyes character next to me saying he wishes the Leeds buses all crashed 'so them Leeds scums all ****in die', before proceeding to rant on about their win at Wembley years ago. What a bunch of plastic no-hopers. No wonder two-thirds of their town has turned to Leeds.
To do well you need Goals coming in from all positions. You need a 20 a season striker, ideally two but if the second chips in with 15+ you would be happy. Then you want at least two of your midfielders hitting double figures. Just look at Gradel, Snodgrass and Howson last season. I like 4-4-2 I want to see Becchio back with McCormack and I want to look back at the season and see that indeed with had a midfiled taking the pressure off with their fair share. If Nunez scores from midfield leave him there. A goal from ANY midfielder nearly every match and one of two strikers scoring nearly every match would mean a promotion finish assuming the defense was sorted out. We scored the goals last season, they were spread nicely through the team, the back four are looking better I just feel we are missing one player.
Yeah it is a flatpack stadium, but it does the job for them, is located in a decent enough area to get to and from with a pub and food places nearby, and plenty of space for fans. As much as I like the old school stadiums far more, this one was more than adequate for a relatively unimportant cup game where I was happy to take my son for a chilled night out at the footy where all we needed was provided.
and anyway, I went to ****ing belle vue first last night cos my Sat Nav was last updated before they built this new place and it aint even there anymore! Just took me to a bastard housing area. Luckily clocked the team bus going past so followed that to ground (as well as all the way back to Leeds from the stadium after cos my son wanted to see the players on the coach and get a wave from them, which didnt even happen). Added at least 45 mins to my journey!
