Great win today. Followed it on work, humming my way through "E I E I E I O,
Up the football league we go and the " Silverware, We don't care, We follow city everywhere," chant as the " hold"-button for customers waiting. Over ambitious.....?:bandit:

    Anyway!

I am really going to jinx the Bristol game :( My team hasn't won in the 15 latest games or so I have seen live <laugh> I last went to the Palace game and look how that turned out.

So don't blame me when we draw 1-1 or so!

Anyone got an idea of how many City fans there will be? How is Ashton Gate?
First football game I ever seen "on my own" if anyone wonders :bandit:

[NSFW]No, there's no point with this thread really. Just some random gibberish[/NSFW]

I asked a random (pretty weird-looking) bloke if you could play pool anywhere nearby. He said something (not even sure it was English?!) with the ugliest accent I've ever heard.

    Reaction:"Yeah, okey, thanks......" Awkward moment.

Stoke or Manc accent (?) must surely be worse than the Bristol one.

Dunno what it's like in Sweden, Febbos, but here you get different accents, dialects etc everyhere you go. You could travel from Hull to the likes of Goole and there would some difference and that's anout 30 mins on the train.

You're english is better than some peoples anyway.

It's the same in Sweden. I wont understand the most brutal dialect in southern Sweden (closer Danish than Swedish), while they all talk slowly and cut ends of every word in the north. At the same time you can go from local villages and there will be differences in some places.

Just sayin that the most brutal Manc/Stoke accent cant be less "kind to your ears" than the Bristol one ;) Skins (The tv-series) is set in Bristol, isn't it? :bandit:

    :)

Yes, you may call me your Messiah:emoticon-0120-doh:

Enjoyed the game though. Got in contact with two other City fans on Temple Meads, so hanged along with them the rest of the day :)
Sat too close to the pitch during the the first half, couldn't see nothing over the other side. The first half itself was pretty dull in general.
We did show some really good stuff though, from time to time. But the first half wasn't any good football really.

Not sure if that early goal did us any good really. We began the second half better, but sat back too early after the goal.
Oh well. Decent point all in all.

Ashton Gate wasn't that impressive (To say the least)
Bristol fans were all top class friendly
Atmosphere was shifting. Bristol impressed when everybody sang along, but that was rare. Whistles on "Just like a library" or whatever the tune goes.
And yeah, Bassoooooo is in the middle of our goal <applause>
