Looking back in the cold light of day we were far superior in every department and should have been out of sight long before the winner went in..Another 0-3 scoreline would have been closer to what the game merited...However, I will force myself to be content with our measly 0-1 victory..

It shouldn't have been more because you didn't score more than one goal...sounds obvious really, doesn't it? I will say that I thought we deserved a draw out of the game. Smash and grab at the end by you lot but fair enough, you scored and we didn't. Hard to take because we were the better team in the second half and were caught on the break when trying to win the game. You played the kind of game we were playing when we were on a 5 game winning streak so no complaints.

I assume you see no hypocrisy in your two comments How could you have been the better team, in the second half, when your defence was cut to pieces time and again? You weren't the better team in the first half. How could you be the better team when our keeper saved everything and your's didn't? How could your attack be better when you couldn't score and we dd. Well as I said on another thread they will not accept that we were the better team.WHEN WE ARE NOT THE BETTER TEAM I WILL ACCEPT IT.

Hi NNN, welcome, I agree to a point, it was looking like you were going to nick it at the finish, Sissoko was giving us a hard time in midfield YaYa style but we defended brilliantly, on the day our substitutions worked and yours didn't, makes a change this, and we nicked it. We certainly needed it more yesterday, and I hope we both keep out of trouble this season, and that the NE has three Premiership clubs next year, all the best, that is, until we meet again at the SOL.
What did Taylor say a few years back about none of our team getting into their side? I would be a bit more benevolent and honestly say Sissoko and Perez are the only two of their lot that would get anywhere near our side, and even then they would be benchwarmers
I think you have gotten a little confused about the difference between the concept of "smash and grab" and "counter attacking football".

Its a marathon not a sprint mate, we will see at the end of the season after 38 games, that's what counts. I would never dream of saying that we were better than you when you were rock bottom without a win
Bang on but we have finished above you for each of the last 3 seasons too. Anyway, we're both playing for mid-table mediocrity so the derbies and cups are more important than final position to me. That only changes when European spots are up for grabs.
