I can understand that Granero may have attitude problems but Faurlin?

Would like to see both play but on what we have seen from Granero he should never start ahead of Faurlin IMO Ale is head and shoulders above Granero in every aspect of the game.

Mbia and Diakite would be my first picks. At the moment I would pick Faurlin ahead of Granero based on Garnero's current form.

Head and shoulders? I'm sorry can't agree on that. Xavi is head and shoulders above Granero. But also above Faurlin.

Tjaa - I don't see that at all. Both have been pretty much the same with us in the PL. I think the best midfield 3, is 3 of the 4 Granero, M'bia, Diakite and Faurlin with which one to be left out dependant on their form and the opposition. Derry is also good to have in their some games, or coming off the bench to steel us up.

It should be 3 of Faurlin, Diakite, Taarabt (AM), Hoilett (AM), Mbia.

We can also play Mbia at CB or RB if he isnt picked at CM.

I thought we were talking about a central midfield 3 in a 4 3 3 or 4 - 1 2 - 2 1. Adel and Hoillet are players for the front 3 rather than the central 3, but can be used in a midfield 5 if we went that way.

Based on graneros performances for us so far, there are several others who should be ahead of him. I have yet to see anything from him that would suggest top class. Not going to hold my breath

Ali for me, seems to be the person who has the best long vision, spreads the play well which with Adel playing the clever balls on the ground and Jnr getting down the line helps mix things up.

Without the ball over the top the CD's push up, taking up the space which Adel should be operating. Ali and err someone fast up front, on the shoulder of the last defenders opens up more gaps IMO.

I would like to see them in the same team but I also want Diakite

    .................Cesar...............

    Bosingwa Hill Nelsen Traore

    ...............Mbia..................

    ........Faurlin Granero..........

    ..............Diakite...............

    ..........Taarabt Cisse..........

The modern midfield quartet rotate ... Width from Bosingwa, Traore and Mbia drops in I also would like to see Diakite race into the box centrally everytime we attack

Interesting we're saying that because before he kicked a ball, all his interview talk had us singing his praises. Turns out they were just cheap sound bites.

Pirata, how can a guy that we signed from Real Madrid be so sh*t?

I like this team Dave - good idea. Send it to Harry in case he hasn't thought of it yet in all these cold sleepless nights he's having!

All I know is that Harry left us without any quality in midfield against Wigan by playing Derry ahead of both of them

Agreed, I understand why he did this but these 3 offer very little creativity so I would switch one out.

Fiorentina are interested in signing Esteban Granero from QPR, Italian media have reported.

The Serie A club are said to be planning to make an offer for him when the transfer window opens next month.

Adel Taarabt will delay his decision whether to play in the Africa Cup of Nations, according to The Sun.

Taarabt may not play for Morocco in the tournament in order to help QPR in their battle against relegation, it has been suggested.

It has also been claimed recently that R’s midfielder Samba Diakite will snub Mali.

Liverpool are poised to buy Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea and let former Blues star Joe Cole leave Anfield, the Daily Mirror reports.

It is claimed Cole, who is wanted by QPR boss Harry Redknapp, is set to move on as Liverpool are keen to sign Tom Ince from Blackpool as well as Sturridge.

Sturridge has been widely tipped to join the Merseyside club in a £12m deal when the transfer window opens next month.

The Mirror also say Chelsea scouts are to watch Corinthians star Paulinho in action against Egyption side Al-Ahly in the Club World Cup on Wednesday.
