    There is a precedent here.

Israel isn't in Europe but is in UEFA for political reasons.

Australia joined AFC because it gives them better chance at qualifying for wc even though they arn't in Asia.

Its using Australia's logic I think we should join concacaf.

Guarenteed place in world cup every 4 years finishing top of group. Higher fifa rankings from winning all the time (even if slightly fewer points for beinf against small teams). Look at USA... their fifa rank is always higher than their actual ability.

...and a larger percentage of other association members speak English.

No Frenchmen who hate England running it.

Concacaf would want us as it means a prestigious nation would represent their region.

Concacaf sounds a little like conker cafe. And a cafe that you play conkers in would be awesome.

    Thoughts?

/ yes this is tongue in cheek.

Nah... he can't have many more years left before he has a heart attack whilst in bed with a bald over-the-hill footballer.

Almost always have two in the group that are tougher than US and Mexico though. So almost always be better off and more likely to qualify.

  7. We'd certainly get home advantage but the trips would be a ****er. Especially for the clubs the players come from.

    I can see it now....

Topping the hex is the mighty US and A!

Followed by the fattest country in the WORLD! ( Yup Mexico topped us, gracias McD's)

    Then would come Engerland.

Not sure you lot could play at our altitudes, up late at night as the fans don't let you sleep and would love to see the likes of Walcott react when bags of piss and **** get thrown at them on ****ty fields with ****ty lights. <ok>

I am not sure England could beat usa or mexico so its better we stay in here with the minnows and scrape though the groups to championships where we get knocked out early.
