It all depends on what SB's plans are. Personally I'd say if he plays he's captain. It's not right if he stays to strip him of the armband, I don't recall any team stripping the Captainsy without a major incident preceding it. Even then it doesn't happen often.
Yes, he's the club captain and earned it with his performances last season. Form is temporary, class is permanent.
If he had anything to do with what his agent tweeted why not give it to someone else. I agree with those who say he's probably going in the summer.
I would love Chester as captain one day, I think for now though that it shoul go to Dawson and JC vice captain.
When Davies plays and is the captain, we lack leadership, it is different when Dawson does the job; there were a couple on here who gave me pelters when I posted this well before Xmas, it was obvious then, as it is now. I don't think Bruce needs to make any announcement during this season, as I don't see them sharing the pitch too much.
How much could we get for him now? His value has probably reduced a fair bit compared to what he may have been valued at last season, same with Huddlestone and Livermore who (even worse) I don't see being worth what we paid for them.
