It's unlikely that Cam will be good enough to ever play for England. As International recognition can add millions onto values, I say Yes.

    Hull, Yorkshire, England.

He can play for England, no doubt at all, would be a crying shame if he chose Scotland over us

I personal can't see him ever making the England team. There are plenty of better wingers ahead of him in the pecking order - Ox-chamberlain, walcott, johnson, young, downing, milner, lennon to name a few. I'm not doubting his ability but I just think it is unlikely.

He has to think who am I more likely to play for and have the chance of playing on an international level and I would say that is the Scots.

He's not good enough now for England (for us of course he is) but might be in the future, that's the way I see it.

As ridiculous as this may come across, he's 20 and not playing for u21's because there are better players than him at that level. I can't see him in the future getting picked above the current u21/senior team players as most of them are early 20's as it is. I don't think it will ever happen.

He's too young to give up on England I reckon. Anything could happen for him yet.

    And Scotland? Really?

We're meant to support him, not destroy his soul.

    Scotland? Really?

I feel sorry for him and he hasn't even said he'll play for them.

    Really? Scotland?

Why are you saying "Scotland? Really? over and over?

The Scotland Manager has already asked him and he has a Scottish mother, so YES, SCOTLAND, REALLY!

If I was him i'd go play for them. At the end of the day if you have the chance to play on an international you have to take it. The opportunity to play in the Euro's or certainly the World cup which is surely the pinnacle of football. He is not going to get there with England, so why not take the chance he has with Scotland.

I don't think he's likely to make the England team, so I think he should take up the Scotland offer.

He can car share with Cairney.

Discworld was not an option, only England and Scotland!
Is he claiming the Patrician as one of his parents or Nobby Nobbs?

NickHCFC take your Hull City specs off for a second and you will realise he is not nearly good enough to play for England. I would definitely advise him to opt for Scotland and get a few caps, like Boaz did with Wales.

As someone above said, good player and young though though Cam is, there are English wingers of his age already playing in the Premier League and being more consistent.

Also I don't see what is so wrong with playing for Scotland, you get to test your skills against the likes of Spain etc every now and then in qualifying, and he may even get to play in the World Cup one day. That just won't happen with England as he will never get near the squad.

He isn't good enough to play for either at the minute.

He really needs to start to get his finger out if he wants to play international football.
