    Should steve bruce be knighted for getting such a great deal for gyan. he was up for sale in the last transfer market but clubs were putting bids in from 3/5 million i wont say silly bids because thats what he was worth after poor 2011 from around about the time sess and muntari came he was ****e . lets hope he has a great season and gets back to the form we know he has and sell him for 20 million-+ <party> ANOTHER GOOD MOVE FOR BRUCE

    I honestly don't think that Bruce knew very much about this deal until after it was done...But I do agree that the sum we have received for Gyan for a one season loan is unbelievable.

    Although I didn't agree with the 'get stuffed' remark, I also take offence with the Jarrow comment. There a thousands of Sunderland fans from all over South Tyneside, and without them we would be in a pretty sorry state...

    Can I just say about the knighthood for Bruce - anyone that can get a fee of ANY description for Daryl Murphy deserves any and every honour available to the british public!!

    From pennywell, moved to Jarrow with my better half.

    Even though I'm happy with the fee, he's left us short up front, if were in a relegation fight due to us not scoring enough goals will you still want him knighted??

    If the deal is as simple as it seems, then yes it's a sensational bit of business. What you don't know is whether they have got an option to make the deal permanent for another 5million or whatever, could easily be written into the contract when paying such a high initial fee.

    If we had enough strikers in the first place then losing Gyan wouldnt of been such a problem and yes the money we got for a season long loan is incredible but nowt to do with Bruce i recon!

    6 million is nothing compared to the 50 million we will lose if we are relegated. Yeah keep selling our best players and keep calling it sensational business, because our team dosent look sensational now that's for sure.

    so you would hang onto a player who does not want 2 be here. we still a few players still here off when keano was manager and on high wagers and worthless we could have added gyan too these
