Or do you like the bigoted and sectarian threads? There is an SPL board as well as Celtic and Rangers pages where this sort of stuff would be more suitable. Should it be confined to these boards?
Yes, everyone is sick of it except the bigots. People like GL thrive on notoriety and want to show everyone how much they don't care what outsiders might think. It's no joke some of the stuff posted recently and not only is it unwanted it is actually embarassing, childish drivel with no merit and no place on a football forum whatsoever, if it's sectarian in content and appears on the General Board it should be simply removed, no debate. I don't anyone want to think we are all ****ers like GL or that he typifies anything about Scots in general.

Well that's your opinion but the topic is sectarianism/bigotry and as far as I and others are concerned that's the biggest blight on these boards but if you think it's in the same ball park as WUMMERY then we will have to disagree. Not everyone like wums but no ****er likes a bigot.
Most folk couldn't give a flying **** about a bigot and choose to to ignore them. However when you've got a GD board with Rangers/Celtic fans going tit for tat and wumming constantly it's putting folk off contributing on here. Outsiders dont know if it's wummery or serious. Although half the time a wum is a half baked belief Wrapped in a snigger. There's no where to hide from it here! By all means continue your tiresome "whatever you want to label it" but an OF board would be the solution.
Both. Shunt them over to the team boards and the rest of us can get some peace. It's alright (quite good fun) reading this stuff every once in a while, but the dreary repetition of the same old ****e is starting to become incredibly tiresome. I can understand why the administrator closed one of Girvan Loyal's threads yesterday, for example - although I wouldn't have done so myself - but it may be better (and more equitable) to simply move these things to the Celtic and Rangers boards or, as BolloBollo suggests, a board specifically allocated to the more excitable Old Firm fans; a place where they can meet in the full and comfortable expectation of a verbal stramash. Anyone visiting or commenting on such a board would be fully forewarned and would subsequently have no grounds for complaint. (Distaste, sure.) To see this stuff on General Chat, however, day in and day out, is making this place kind of ****ty. It's all so excruciatingly circular and dull, bereft of even trace elements of clever.
I agree 100% as do (believe it or not) the vast majority of Old Firm fans. I don't want anyone thinking that this is the sort of sheeite we talk about all the live long day, it's pathetic.

Yes there are lots of OF related threads in general chat but then all of the regulars on here are OF fans. It will all change when the masses arrive here from the BBC. As a neutral, I can't wait.
I'd be in favour of confining that sort of tedious ****e as well as all OF stuff to the SPL board. It pisses me off when someone posts something in GC which clearly belongs elsewhere, so I can only imagine what non-OF fans think when they see thread after thread of the same repetitive drivel. I understand the history of the site and why the situation's come about, but think it would benefit everyone if OF fans got into the habit of posting strictly OF stuff in the SPL board (or Rangers or Celtic board).
I am not an OF fan. I am all in favour of getting rid of bigotted ****e. They can keep it on their own board where I don't need to look at it.
