Everyone knows i am a great fan of Bellamy and always have been throughout his career, I have met him on a couple of occasions over the years with one time at the strand bar in Swansea, He was out with none other than the savage and they were in the welsh team to play against i cant remember now someone the following evening. He and the sav were brilliant and down to earth. I would love to see him start his managerial career right home at cardiff where he has more knowledge in his little finger than Ogs and tan put together and would be an asset as No2 waiting for his chance to be No1 and imo should not take that long. The only problem i can see is that he wont get on with Ogs and definitely not tan for a whole season in a million years as he will always speak his mind and rightly so....He is a blue and not red that's for sure and conflicts would occur.....great bloke...

    No.

OGS needs and experienced number 2 and someone who can sort out the defence.

"he is a blue and not red" - Really - I dont think Bellamy cared less what colour Cardiff played in.

He cared alright deep down, he is being diplomatic and he knows fully well that blue is the true colour of Cardiff. Hilts you wont get better than Bellamy for knowing cardiff inside out much better than anyone else new joining the club. don't underestimate what is already there...

    Agreed.

Dai you are probably right with many of your Bellers comments. However, due to his outspoken nature I couldn't see him as no. 2 and falling in line with OGS.

Best he goes to learn the trade somewhere where he will be less emotionally involved then coming back to us in a few years. Or maybe sooner if he gets his coaching badges quickly and OGS doesn't work out.

Where the hell did that Hull numpty come from? No need for that. A reasonable thread starter from Dai. <ok>

    Good thread Dai. <ok>

Too soon for Bellars to be at Cardiff. I think he will travel as he indicated recently and hone his skills in management abroad. If successful I think he would eventually love the Welsh job and bring in his mate Dutch Ray.

Thanks for your reasonable post bridge <ok> I am making an observation ob Bellamy and what he can offer the club that's all. I'm not in any way saying im right im just putting something in the pot that could be a good debate.....Bellamy would IMO have masses of knowledge on cardiff and the right way to play.

With the greatest of respect to Bellamy who has many fine qualities, being anybody's assistant is not likely to be a job he is well suited for. If the past is a guide to the present, Bellamy is not one for taking orders. His approach is more likely to be his way or the highway so no manager would want him to be his assistant. Bellamy would be better off starting off as a manager in the lower leagues or even abroad. One day he might well be a manager but not yet.

There's surely a Bar in Cardiff that he could manage. <whistle>

Good to see you treating Dai with the respect he deserves. <laugh>

Would Bellamy be interested or do you think he's maybe biding his time? Can't see him wanting to be anybody's number two and that's not a criticism, but I don't see him in that kind of role. Perhaps he's seen that sometimes you really can be in the right place at the right time and get your big break. As oldsparkey rightly says, look at Monk.

But I wonder what would have happened to Brady's offensive post if it had been aimed at a Cardiff fan? Second thoughts, no need to wonder. Post removed and a ban, but more double standards here. Clear breach of the rules but it's allowed to stand. <doh>

Have to agree with you there DB.

Dai has out up a good discussion thread and for a troll to turn up and make a pathetic comment like that is inexcusable.

Not criticising our mods but that idiot should be banned, from this board if not all.

Dont worry about any abuse i am thick skinned and none of that bothers me one bit.<laugh> I get it all the time on my own board and i just laugh at them..<ok> If someone starts a good debate then that is how it should be treated and just because someone has different views to someone else then that is good as that is what a thread is intended for a debate....nobody is right or wrong as they are opinions and nothing more and when some numpty chips in with some form of abuse then that person dont have the capability of debating anything and will always think they are right on everything..<laugh> Take no notice i don't..<ok>
