Should Arsenal allow Cesc Fabregas to return to his boyhood and rightful club, Barcelona? I think they should. He is a youth product of theirs and learnt his trade there. He is a born and bred Catalonian and Arsenal should stop holding him against his will and allow him to return to his family.

Keeping him at Arsenal is neither good for team morale nor for Cesc himself. If he is at Arsenal at the start of next season then I see it disrupting the dressing room with problems creeping on to the pitch which could mean another season of woe for Arsenal fans. That is why Arsenal will do well to sell him to Barca as quickly as possible, hopefully with the first or at least second bid that they make.

Arsenal need to spend some money, the young team that will always be better next year is not getting better. I do somewhat respect them for balancing the books, first and foremost but it's getting to the point that I can't understand how a club with such a massive turnover spends less than the likes of Spurs.

He will go to Barca some day just like Pique did. However you make it sound like he's a slave. He's not; just under contract like other professional footballers. He signed a contract for money and should be prepared to see it out. My heart bleeds for him earning all that money playing for a big EPL club. Poor baby.

Yurilly still banging on about Cesc and his 'rightful' club I see. Talk about obsessed !

Anyway, yes I think it's inevitable that he'll go back to Barca one day, there's no secret in that. As long as we get a decent price from him and actually spend it on some decent players, then I've got no problem.

The day he does go will see also see Yurilly furiously ****ing in a corner somewhere <laugh>

I don't know why Arsenal want to hang onto Fabregas THAT much. They'd get a ****load of money for him which would be enough to by any of the other elite midfielders in Europe. I certainly don't think that selling Fabregas would create an unfillable gap.

I guess it all depends on whether Arsenal are placing a fair valuation on him.

Fortunately attacking midfield is an area where we're quite strong. I think we should test Barca's resolve by asking them to include players that we need in the deal. Mascherano and Pique would be a good start
