A few posts in the recent past seem to ask where ourselves and a few other clubs are shopping in this transfer-window.At the moment,we,as SAFC,seem to be shopping in the bargain-counter at Aldi,whereas our main-rivals up the road are shopping at Harrod's .What the heck is going-on?Is our owner scared of putting his money into buying quality??

More like getting ripped off on Ebay. Yeah Short has bottled it but don't let throwing money about fool you. Shelvey is a meh Midfielder not much of an improvement on what they have imo and Saivet is ****e.
Well it's blatantly obvious you've got some sort of strict budget to work with, Sam's the man for that though. Newcastle have got two players who I'd say improve their starting 11 and that's rare for the January window.
