    On another thread the following discussion took place:

    I couldn't quite come up with a punchline for Ronaldo, Owen, And Barton siging... instead a hypothetical question.

    Say you are given the choice: You have to shoot one of those three players- You have to sign one of the players to play for Liverpool and you have to have an amicable drink with one.

    Which do you shoot, which do you sign, and which do you drink with... and why?

    Sign CR and go water skiing on the river of tears flowing out of Moanchester
    Have a bevvy with Barto and tell him where hes going wrong in life, then go outside to fight him.:grin:

    Might help to give Barton something stiff to drink- and just drink Lucasade yourself. Get him nice and intoxicated first.

    I'm kind of going to eat my words here since I was taking the piss when I made those comments and wouldn't want to see us sign any of them, but here goes...

    Sign: C.Ronaldo (best player of the three)
    Shoot: Michael Owen (**** and injury player, plus he is boring as ****)
    Drink: Joey Barton (about the only one you could possibly get half a conversation out of)

    honestly... owen is so bad he doesn't deserve the price of the slug... better to let him keep making himself look worse and worse <laugH> stoke training video is hilarious.

    despite it all any lfc fan thinking 30 goals + from ronaldo would be a terrible thing needs their head examined so i agree waterskiing the flood of tears as it was put would be hilarious also.

    Does bottling barton count as having a drink with him?

    Sign Ronaldo, as he would score against the scum because he hates Ferguson.
    Shoot Owen, as the greedy, judas, crock deserves shooting.
    Go for a pint with Joey Barton, it would be a good laugh.

    Put Shrek in there too and it would be perfect. However one of the best things to do would be to giver Shrek a grenade, once he's thrown it at you, you can take the pin out and throw it back.
