Hopefully it's nothing serious, imagine if he lost his lightening pace, or aerial ability! <yikes>

It's alright, Pardew will just start bringing on Gosling on 60 minutes instead.

That'll slow him down a bit.

Really? I heard it was a ploy to improve his pace.

Surely Pardew would bring Ameobi on earlier - to compensate for the sudden drop in pace?

Or, worse, take a player off after sixty minutes and then, in deference to Shola, not replace him at all.

You'll be hearing, clip clop, clump clump now instead of clip clop clump.

    That would involve him moving.

I think the crutches are just to help prop him up and take the weight off of his poor hip.

If he just stands in the oppo penalty area he'll at least score 1 in every 1,000 passes (the rest will be offside).

I think, as with Lord Voldemort, Pardew should from now on be referred to as 'the one who shall not be named".

Be fair to Souness - he never oversaw a 3-0 home derby loss, nor a 6-0 home defeat to any team. Nor did he have us participating in a relegation scrap that looks like going to the wire.

I didn't actually care much about the subs today and can understand the Shola one to a certain extent. They are a big side who were having on top as you'd expect from them at home. So Campbell maybe wouldn't have helped. But Gosling over Anita? Yes he is tiny but then Gosling is hardly Giant Haystacks!

Some **** wrestling then a game at 3 with your grandad moaning about the number of blacks in Arsenals team (RIP grandad but you were a racist crazy)
