Shocking!

With 28 minutes gone in the match, my girlfriend turned to me and said, with all the languidness of James May in his favourite oil-stained jeans, and tasked with debating the merit of a meaningless hatchback Clarkson didn't want to stick the arse out of on the track... "Don't you think Cheik Tiote looks like a mini-Mr T?"...

Slowly I prised my eyes from the game, twisting my head with a face only comparable to someone having watched that video from "The Ring"... "Shhhhhhhhh!" I said... "He can hear you!"...

Now one of two things will happen. Either I'll be hunted down Final Destination style having escaped the game without death, or I'll have to sit next to her at every home game for the rest of the season...

Shame that both ways I'll probably not be able to enjoy a season which is shaping up pretty well just now... How many would have said 7/9 from the start we had? Now I generally delude myself into believing we'll win each year until we're mathematically out of it, but I have to admit I'm more and more surprised by our players, players every other pundit had as relegation candidates. It might prove that we end up in a relegation battle, but for now I'm quite contented telling my Man Utd supporting Granny to watch out!
