Shopping? What shops?

Hope the County get good support tomorrow night and have a successful season. At least playing at Rodney Parade will bring much needed match day trade to the city centre . It would be great to see them back in the Football League for 2013/14. Edinburgh has made some good signings and has the makings of a decent squad. I won't be surprised if a couple of City youngsters have time there on loan this season. It was a good move for Nat Jarvis last year.

Ha ha, you spotted the delibrate mistake. It breaks my heart to see how far Newport 'city' centre has fallen. I think the move to Rodney Parade will be good for the County, it's a good ground for watching sport and they should quickly be able to generate a better atmosphere than the Athletics track could achieve.

Agreed Steve. I'm a Newport lad originally and now work there while living in Bridgend (similar problems but on a smaller scale - is it me?).

It is such a shame to see the centre dying on its feet. If the proposed new development doesn't start soon I can't see any sort of future and the centre will become a ghost town.
