What possesses grown men to behave like hooligans at matches in this day and age is beyond me. To attack their own stewards and put others at risk too..... http://www.barkinganddagenhampost.c...ng_stewards_duri ng_wigan_play_off_1_3605571 For some people the rule of law ceases to exist inside football grounds.. .and that is not just some players!
Sadly not the first time - these guys are only doing their job for very little. Deserve more respect.
It is easy to take the moral high ground here I know, but yes some respect is needed. It is so easy to get hurt if you are old or a kid in concrete stands, A thankless task being a steward. There were two WFC fans standing up, down the front, at an away game earlier this season and they repeatedly refused to sit down, and consequently a couple of hundred of us behind all had to stand too.
Shyster is derived from the German term scheisser, meaning literally “one who defecates,” from the verb scheissen, “to defecate,” with the English suffix -ster, “one who does,” substituted for the German suffix -er, meaning the same thing.
