Chelsea's record ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã50million signing Fernando Torres is already king of the shirt sales ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢â∠â outselling his Liverpool replacement Andy Carroll by 250 jerseys to one. Demand for Chelsea's new Torres home shirts are currently 40% higher than when he arrived at Anfield three years ago, according to suppliers. Shirt sales for the Kop̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s other new striker, Luis Suarez, are 380% more popular than Carroll replicas, but are still trailing behind Chelsea̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Spanish signing by 30 to one.
So for every 1 shirt with Carroll on it, there are 250 with Torres on it, and 4.8 with Suarez on it? So, by your calculations, 4.8 into 250 is 30..?
This is so stupid..... over course he is going to sell more jerseys! He just won the world cup, is a household name all around the world due to his performances for Liverpool and Spain. The way this transfer saga has gone down of course Chelsea have a big name and are going to make big money off it. Carroll fits a need of ours and I will judge him by his performances, not his shirt sales....ffs! Ronaldo sold over a million in a week when he went to Madrid but I can guarantee they care more about how he performed and justified that price tag!
Too late on the Wum opportunity, see previous post on subject. You, my friend, have been out-wummed. How embaressing!
