I think with Fergi leaving I can see United for the next few seasons coming very short in the title challenge. Mainly because they don't have the world best manager anymore. At best the United team is 3rd best on paper and I think that will show this season. Things are going to be hard for Moyes to deal with. His first task is trying to keep Rooney happy and at the club. I think even though they have three other good strikers losing him will be a mental blow especially if he stays in the Prem with another Club. I don't think Moyes will win the tittle in the first two years. Hes got a massive job with pressure to win titles and trophies which he didn't have at Everton. Dont get me wrong he is a magnificent manager as he has proved at Everton. So I think they will come 2 and 3 rd for the next two seasons.

That means with City being the other major threat to us. I think the tittle is ours!. Because City's a massive job harder than United because they have the budget but have had an awful season. I think Pellegrini will have to spend big to make them a force to challenge. I just see the two Manchester Clubs falling short and coming 2 and 3rd.

I think with Jose's return pretty much sealed we have the chance to be the biggest force for the Prem League for the next three years at least. I think he will come in and make a few big signings and we have the title with no problem. The only way I can see us not winning the title is if City and United deal well with their new managers and make some new signings. This is the team I would like Jose to play next season integrated with some new players and some of the loaners.

    Cech
    Cole NW Player Terry Azpilicueta

    Luiz Lampard

    Oscar Mata Hazard

    NW Player

Subs:COURTOIS, IVANOVIC, RAMI, BA, LUKAKU, WALLACE, ESSIEN

Squad Players Could Change With Starting 11/ and Subs: Cahill, AKke, De Bryne and their could be more signings which means the whole look out could change.

Sell: Romeu, Tores, Mikel, Marin, Yossi, Kakuta, Bruma, Van

Loan Again To Develop Then In Squad Year After: Chalobah, Piazon, Josh

Loan Out x2 Seasons and See how they Develop: Hutch, Feruz, T Hazard

With the right Direction we could have a very powerful squad for the next 5 years but it needs to be implemented right!

As long as we win the PL , I dont care too much about the fortunes of MU! I will be unhappy if Branna isn't in our back 4 next year!

Chelsea are still a long way off from winning the league, ££££ will probably be the best of the 3, with Sir David and UTD finishing 2nd

Not too sure, I am not as optimistic as the OP but take RVP out of Utds starting XI and its not better than Chelseas.
Chelseas league form has suffered since Carlo left with the instability caused by the hiring and firing of AVB, RDM and FSW in two season.
AVB didnt gel with the big egos in the squad, RDM was never the guy Roman wanted and was sacked at the first oppurtunity and FSW was an unpopular choice who was always a stop gap at best.

With a manager the fans love, who has a proven PL track record and record of winning titles in general, I think, with 2-3 key signings, Chelsea could very well win the league next year.....
Again tho, it all depends on how Moyes handles Utd and what Pellegrini does at City.
But what I can say is I cannot see SAF leaving having anything other than a negative impact on Utds results.....he was just too good.

Its a tough one to gauge. Moyes has consistently shown himself to be the best manager outside the top five; with this largely because of being unable to compete financially. The big test for him will be stepping up to the pressure and expectations he now has, something that is a whole new territory having had none at Everton.

How good Moyes is, is a question that has been unable or impossible to answer until now. I still think he is a quality manager, yes he is no Fergie, but Moyes has overachieved with Everton and the players and finances he had there, now he will have to do the same at Utd, whos own squad is not the best on paper. Certainly City and Chelsea have slightly better squads, Fergie was a master at getting every last ounce of effort and fight from his players and Moyes will have to the same to be successful. As much as I hate Utd........ part of me thinks Moyes deserves this chance and hope he doesn't fail badly.

Interesting we all see things differently. Personally, I think Man U have nowhere to go except down. Rooney is either fed up or washed up, not sure which. Like us ,they are desperate for someone to run their midfield, and also like us, their CDs' are slow and long in the tooth. They leave us for dead with their strikers, but our 3/4 amigos are untouchable.
I think we are closer to fixing things than Man Utd, as we have some crackers coming through, but a huge question mark against Jose. Will he take us forward and build cleverly and slowly, or will he take us backwards and try and reproduce the Chelsea of 5 or 6 years ago?? Will he come at all??
For my money Man City are the favourites. They have a magnificent squad which has been completely mismanaged by the hopelessly out of his depth, Mancini. Their new manager is astute, a very good man manager, a good disciplinarian who gets his players respect, and a good tactician. And he speaks excellent English.
Thats a pretty formidable portfolio, and I expect them to improve out of sight, and win the PL comfortably. He also just might come to us if Jose goes to PSG, but unlikely.
Second would be a great result for us, and I think we might just get it and pip Utd .
Would be much more confident if Kloop was our manager, as I think we need fresh blood, new thinking and a good sweep out of the old ways. But looks as if Jose will get the gig, so we wait and see.

I agree about Utd; many have been saying they need an overhaul for the last 3 or 4 years, especially in midfield, Fergie for all his ****erishness did wonders with the squad he has had, possibly aided by the self destruction of their rivals. However, if Moyes can tweak the squad, bring in money from the Rooney sale and use it to improve midfield and another striker they will be much better, I do agree though that Chelsea, perhaps have less rebuilding to do. For me, a top striker, a CM ala Modric, and a top CB and you guys are right back in the race.

Will be interesting how Pellegrini does, looks a better man manager than Mancini and does have the experience of Real Madrid in managing ego's, however playing for Real and City are two different things. I also think Mancini was harshly judged; getting a bunch of ego's who are only there for the paydays is a tough gig, he did well. Will be good to see a different manager in the Prem though, how he adapts to a new style, environment will be key, the prem and La Liga are completely different.

Can see all three clubs getting 80 plus points. United/city have best squad until Jose sorts balance out. Chelsea have best manager. United have best structure

with the squad we had we underachieved in the PL
I expect us to go a lot closer with Jose in charge
could be a difficult season for United as they really did benefit from us and City being poor
City will be a tough nut with Pellegrini
    should be an interesting season

I agree; if Arsenal spend some cash too, could be one of the best seasons in the prem ever, in terms of competitiveness! However the prem is crying out for some new world class players.

Arsenal I can see coming fourth unless they spend big. As for the top four even with Gareth Bale I can see spuds coming outside the top four. Unless Spuds spend then yoh would expect Arsenal to extend the gap for the champions lg places. I think they will be about third at best and clossr to the title than they have been. I think they will get about 72-79 points which will see them in a safe area. with united third at about 80-84. I can only see them going backwards and taking a few seasons to get used to Moyes no matter the structure. leavin us and city between 85-90 points winnin the title.

Wishful thinking i think. Why is it you believe City and Chelsea's new managers will have an instant impact and shoot them to the top but Moyes will take years and years to settle in??????? lol

That's funny. I could've sworn Barca all over Real from a height of around 15 points last season. Despite their manager spending most of the season in hospital.

Or is that the same way Jose "knocked Utd off their perch" at the top of English football? More like briefly wobbled the perch before getting fed up and ****ing off somewhere the grass was greener <ok>
