I'm with them as well and I'm a similar amount in credit. I pay 200 a month. We are due the 67 quid off the bills from this month as well now.

Might stick the heating on! <laugh>

I'm old enough to remember not having central heating so don't know what all the fuss is about.
Yes we don't have a coal fire to sit round burning your shins, but think the media are frightening people again.
Not denying its going to be a long cold winter but as has been said put another jumper on and get a blanket out.

You don't need heat all you're home, concentrate on the room you are in if another jumper/blanket isn't enough get a little ceramic heater they are much cheaper to run, if money is a problem.

That's all true, people didn't have central heating years ago and we can put an extra layer on instead of putting the heating on but it's completely missing the point.

We have central heating these days, there has been huge improvements in how we insulate our homes to keep the heat in or cold out but the cost of gad and electricity has gotten so high over the last 12 months that people are worried to turn in their heating to warm their homes? Gas central heating that we do have these days! And this isn't something that is only effecting your most poor in society, the pensioners, its families who 12 months ago were comfortable and had a few hundred quid a month to spare to go out have a meal go for a drink and go on holiday once a year!

That isn't acceptable because we can stick a few layers on! It's ****ed because those prices are never coming down we always get the increases when prices go up for the supplier but we never get the savings if its drops. Things could change this week where we suddenly we had more than enough supply to meet the demand and they wouldn't drop the prices back down to normal rates!
