While Watford had a week without a midweek fixture, Wednesday had a cup game against Brentford, that they lost on penalties after extra time. Our last visit to Hillsborough, back in January, resulted in a 0-0 draw, that we thought was a poor game, one of many. Team News Head coach Tom Cleverley expects to use pretty much all the fit members of his squad. “Come the end of the next week I’m sure we will have used 17 or 18 players in a starting capacity and maybe as many as 20 playing some sort of minutes in the three games,” he said. Two players who will definitely not feature at Hillsborough are defender Jeremy Ngakia, who is still not back to full fitness, and midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru. Cleverley said the on-loan Bournemouth player Daniel Jebbison worked hard in training on improving the areas highlighted that needed attention and “he’ll be playing some sort of minutes in the next three games for sure”. The fact that Moussa Sissoko will not be available for this and the next two games must be a blow to Tom's planning. Although he does appear to run out of steam after 80 minutes, he has been a real driving force from midfield.
You'd think the club would take notice - all the comments are asking for the formation rather than just the names. It's been the same for ages now
Camera just panned on the Watford fans - one guy with a replica shirt on, with 9 and Endean on the back. Looked a bit young for that...
Andrew French thinks we could be going 4-5-1 Bachmann; Porteous, Sierralta, Pollock, Larouci; Ince, Dwomoh, Kayembe, Chakvetadze, Baah; Bayo. Subs: Bond, Keben, Louza, Vata, Sema, Tikvic, Jebbison, Doumbia, Ebosele
SW really should have scored there - a free header in front of goal, resulting from a silly free kick given away by Kayembe
