    I've read it was a mix of reserve and youth players with one or two big names. It was just a Sheffield Wedneday XI and wasn't even really part of their pre-season programme. Still, shocking result considering Alfreton were in Blyth's league last season!

    Sheffield Wednesday played Stoke yesterday i think ..

    EDIT : They did and it was a 0-0 draw

    Dunno about their first team, but it is true.
    It was against Alfreton Town, who are in the Conference this season after finishing first in the Conference North.

    14-0, how do you even concede that many goals, saying that we beat madron fc 52-0 last month, they only had 7 players though
