Having just got back from Holiday I thought I'd get myself a ticket for the Blunts game on Sunday.
Just looked at the prices on the Hull City Tigers (Jesus Wept!) website to see that they're £10 for pass holders and £15 for non-pass holders! WTF?
I haven't renewed this year as I don't intend giving the Allams any of my hard earned any more so where does this additional £5 go? Sheff Utd? Allam's back pocket?

    Seriously, what is going on?
Are they actually trying to completely cleanse the club of the "vocal minority" who have decided to attend away games only?
Will this be continued into the season? If so, can anything be done about it?
23 away games in the league plus cup games means the Allams could trouser well over £100 from each non-pass holding supporter travelling away?

Surely this can't be right. Can it?

    Is this another parody account??

Season Ticket holders almost always get reduced prices, thats the benefit of loyalty and commitment. You're seriously claiming to not know that away tickets see a portion go to our club?

Obviously any money you spend with 2 miles of the KC, or the Football team goes straight under Dr Allams mattress.

    He said thanks btw.

    You have two obvious choices.

    1. Stop being a fanny and just support the team
    2. Stop supporting the team by going to watch them either home or away

I don't remember ever having away ticket prices that we're different for season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders, it's particularly ridiculous for a pre-season.

Though I don't think it's got anything to do with us, I think this pricing is down to the Blunts.

And this is why you're such a ****. He clearly stated he isn't doing home games because he isn't giving Allam money, so aways are fine.

Apart from in cup games, it's normal for the home team to keep gate receipts. That's always been my understanding, so I'm equally confused about this clause, who insisted upon it, and whether it's gonna be a thing all season, I asked a similar question a while ago.

Maybe there's a couple of grand left in the ASI fund from last season...

Yes. Should be interesting despite it being just a friendly / fitness game.

The Allams are subsidising season ticket holders due to the high prices and relegation, in a similar way to how season ticket holders get 3 free home cup tickets.

Stop trying to find any old reason to start a riot, things like this dilute the real issues such as the name changer and general contempt of the fans.

Yep, I'll be there. Going to be very interesting to see if SB goes 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 in our last match before the season really starts. Tbh I think he'll try both.

They can't make the prices more expensive than the home club has set them to so there's no pocketing the cash involved. If during the season cheaper tickets are offered to season ticket holders than non-season ticket holders then that is Hull City subsidising them, a mutual agreement between the clubs that to boost attendances at both games by offering travelling season ticket holders reduced prices, or just something that the home team has chosen to offer (potentially for cup games).

If you're worried it's dodgy though just go in the home end for games. I'll probably do that a lot anyway when I go to aways this season. With my address it's easy enough to do, tickets are less likely to be snapped up by our fans at the smaller grounds than in the away end (don't know what the smallest allocation will be to be fair), and it has the added bonus of really ****ing up PC Plod's plans to bubble wrap us for any future games if you've got yourself in the database for other clubs as a home fan. I did it at Huddersfield having got a train through that day.

Great news that the England cricket team will have the 3rd test match all wrapped up by friday night.

No chance of day 5 happening now and having to miss it for the game. .
