Sheff Wed on Monday. Somehow got bad vibes on this one: > We are ****e under the cameras > I fear Lowe will come back to haunt us > Quite why we are odds on with the bookies is absurd imo > Personally will be very happy with a point. Our biggest test so far
Again, keep Lowe quiet or restricted to one goal, and we will run rings around that bunch of duffers. 3-1. COYR!
I think we are going to batter them- A real statement of intent. Can't wait to see Megson cry either.
Disappointed to be facing him again so soon, but in the mood we're in I think all that's going to happen is that we're going to win by a slightly smaller margin. "The Curse of Sky" will be no more...
Personally I'll be clapping him, but I have a feeling some people will boo, each to there own but he didn't leave on bad terms and we're a stronger side without him now
My opinion, from a previous thread - "...after the no doubt generous round of applause for the return of a popular son of The Valley and one chorus of Semeeeedo , he's toast along with the rest of them. He may be the new shining star at Wednesday, but not against us.
I think one chorus of "He comes from Portugal...." and then CP and the lads can let him know why he wasn't worth paying over the odds to keep.
The time for sentiments are after the game. I'll neither applaud or boo, and I hope Hollands gets stuck in to him early doors to show him who's boss.
Sometimes it is right to show respect to those who have passed on, particularly when they have crossed the Styx into Sheffield.
He'll receive a clap after the game as he heads towards the tunnel.. before then he's just another Sheffield Wednesday player.
I know how you are thinking, Mr H. We beat them 1-0 a year ago but now we have a rookie manager. You and I would feel a lot more confident if we had an experienced manager like Parky still in charge. Right?
We were crap under the cameras because we played crap football under the last four managers, no style no emphasis on passing and the officials, who were looking to impress under the spotlight, punished us for every scything tackle that Semedo or Daily put in. We got a high percentage of yellow and red cards and yes, we lost. If you can't see what is different about CP's current team you haven't been paying attention this season. Our Yellow card count is down (save for Robbie time wasting again), we haven't been down to 10 men yet and yes, we've been winning. We will play well and hopefully we will beat a Wednesday side that has purchased late in the window and may not yet gel by Monday. What are the odds on Semedo being sent off?
