Well, I wanted a home draw, but I suppose it spares the pitch. Plus an unglamour tie against massive opposition, who to cap it all, are showing a marked improvement just now. All in all, about as exciting a tie as the takeover we are now undergoing. Bugger!
As it's been said, big guns knock eachother out, We win this and draw say, Sheffield United at home (assuming they win their replay and then their 5th round) and I could easily see a trip to Wembley
Likes the sound of his own voice a bit too much, clearly auditioning for the role of Professional Yorkie when Boycott drops off the perch. His weave is laughable The tie is 50/50
Actually followed the draw on BBC site, the first time I've done that for years (we're usually out before St Albans!). The sad thing is I'm back that weekend, and a home draw against Arsenal or Man City, played on sunday or friday and I'd get a trip to the Valley. Sadly I'm busy on the saturday, so the usual updates will have to keep me happy, but you know how it is, I'll be just as happy if we've won come 90 minutes.
Michael Vaughan has just been on Charlton Live, he was invited to call on Twitter and took up the invitation. Fair play to him. I think some Charlton fans overreacted to his tweets to be honest, it was just a bit of banter.
Charlton fans overreacting to a bit of banter! No never, I won't hear such a thing. Boring cup drawer tho. The trouble is, it will prove more harm than good. If we get in the sixth round I can imagine some cafc fans setting themselves alight.
I really couldn't care less who we got to be honest. Just so long as we got drawn away from home. Our quagmire of a pitch is gunna struggle to fulfil our leage games let alone additional cup fixtures. I deffo fancy us to roll Sheffield Wednesday though...!!
Yeah i dont follow the 'boring' line at all, we advance din the cup, who cares who we draw. The best draw is a winnable one and we got that.
