SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY v WATFORD F.C. Team news from Watford in this link and below: Watford could be boosted by the return of Almen Abdi for this weekend's Championship clash at Sheffield Wednesday. The Swiss international played just over an hour of Tuesday’s Herts Senior Cup game against Boreham Wood as he continues to recover from an ongoing foot problem. Watford say Abdi, who has not been a part of the first-team squad since the end of January, has progressed well after that match and could feature against Wednesday. Mathias Ranegie is available after serving a three-match suspension while new signing Albert Riera could feature but, at the time of going to press, his move was still awaiting international clearance. Three players will definitely miss the trip. Fernando Forestieri (foot), Chu-Young Park (thigh) and Essaïd Belkalem (back spasm) have all been ruled out. Fitz Hall has started to train again after his Achilles injury but he remains a doubt for the game. Also Sheffield Wednesday's team news will eventually appear on this link. COMMENTS WELCOME ENJOY THE GAME

Today's team: Almunia; Doyley, Angella, Ekstrand; Anya, Battocchio, Tozser, McGugan, Pudil; Deeney, Ranegie subs: Bond (GK), Merkel, Riera, Murray, Faraoni, Abdi, Hoban
Afternoon all, essential jobs done, the rest can wait. Our bench looks a bit short on centre backs today after having it filled with them recently. Let's hope that I will enjoy leaving the sun behind to come and listen to this.
Jon Marks coming over loud and clear. Woods now the sub keeper as Bond has picked up an injury in the warm up.
Deeney off the pitch changing his boots. Doyley almost puts them in. Deeney almost... but their defence just gets back in time.
SW 3rd corner of the afternoon. Shot blocked. Good defending. Deeney caught offside. SW holding a high line.
