What a game!! WHAT A GAME!!! I said after 15 mins this is going to be a game of fitness, it had thrills and spills, highs and lows, climaxes and orgasms, and the ultimate double bolt of lightening right at the end to cap off what was a thrilling game to watch; talk about squeaky bum time, even the squeaks were squeaking as well. I think it took us by surprise how fast Sheff U started the game, but we seem to quickly realise this and upped our own gears to match'em. These are type of games we should be playing every match, and we showed we can handle the fast pace from start to finish. Both teams played good attacking fast paced passing. Both teams had their chances at either end. Both teams could've won it earlier. Only one team were the dirtiest out the two. Only one team seemed to have the ref on their side.......again. In every exciting game there can be drawbacks. I don't think BPF is going to last the season, basically, while he did pull off a couple of good saves, he's back to square one. His decision making and judgement is still way off, as can be seen (one example) when he completely mistimed a jump from a cross from the left. I researched our keeper coach, he's never played football or keeper apparently. Marcos Abad is his name, he's Spanish. Victor Orta brought Abad with him from Middlesboro........says it all really. How Phillips got MOM is beyond me, but that's Sky Sports for you. There were far better players on pitch on both sides. Klich played a good game and was a menace to the Sheff U defence, he also, too a certain extent brought back edge of the box shooting; which I've always believed we should do more of instead of trying to walk the ball into net all the time; maybe that's a contributing factor in our drop in goals scored during matches. Pablo played well, you could see his passing and touches were creating problems for the Sheff U defence, just a pity not everyone was in sync with him. Forshaw again did a great job in our midfield, I love watching him push forward and run at defences, his runs at defences are crucial to our attack build up. We also saw Jansson doing more runs through middle and attacking their midfielders and defenders, he was unlucky not to get a penalty for having his shirt grabbed and pulled when he headed towards goal. The ref was in a good position to see it but totally ignored it, he couldn't have missed it as he watched Jansson head the ball. I don't think Clark is fully first team fit yet, and imo would struggle for the full 90+ minutes. He came on as sub for Alioski, started on left then ended up on right side, what a God send that turned out to be. With the game full of highs and lows, and exciting whooo's and arrrrs, it was looking like a draw was on cards, but also like someone could nick it towards end, such was the pace of the game, and both teams. As it happened, keeper error was thrown into the mix and decided the game, and not at our end either. A fluffed kick by Henderson to his defender towards the left edge of his box saw Clark lurking and intercepting the ball. Even though he was slightly unbalanced he did a great job of getting the ball across to the waiting Pablo who slotted it home for what proved to be the decisive winner........1-0 to Leeds. I watched that goal about 100 times, it gave the same thrills after the 100th time as it did watching it during game. By rights Sheff U should've had 2 goals, but they didn't put their chances away, and it cost'em 3 points and a little slide down table. All up a brilliant match to watch full of climaxes, orgasms and squeaky bum times. Enjoy All Hail, we have 10 minutes of highlights squidmangaming's highlights from different angle.
