This. The right choice, based on merit. The problem may be that he's not a miracle worker and will need backing in the transfer market and the fortune to get any players he wants. And lets not kid ourselves, the club can't afford to (won't) splurge massive amounts on transfers.
So with a good window we can hope to be play off contenders but I wouldn't expect it.
