BBC reporting he's about to be made permanent manager. If true, then I think everyone is happy right ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cqj4150lzp1o
He has proven that he is capable of managing at this level, so I’m happy that he has been given the job permanently. That said, the task for him now to sign players who can not only improve the squad but also make us genuine promotion contenders - a difficult task if he has to also find a replacement for Harry Darling, not forgetting the huge role that O’Brien played in the successful end to the League campaign
Yeah, I don't think we’ll be able to get O’Brien back as he may cost too much but I’d love to be proved wrong on that.
This. The right choice, based on merit. The problem may be that he's not a miracle worker and will need backing in the transfer market and the fortune to get any players he wants. And lets not kid ourselves, the club can't afford to (won't) splurge massive amounts on transfers. So with a good window we can hope to be play off contenders but I wouldn't expect it.
I know you love a good conspiracy regarding the media, have you ever heard of Ground News ? I heard about it on the Triggernometry podcast the other night. It tells you whether each story is left, centre, or right biased so you can see the difference with reports on the same story and how they may be spun to suit.... problem is that it's behind a paywall but you can read 5 free articles per day https://ground.news/
I’ve renewed our 3 season tickets today: my grandson’s cost only £85 - pretty decent value for money in my opinion
