George Carlin has a lot of stuff on youtube, the older he is the better the set generally. Ross Noble's a bit of an obvious one, but again has lots of youtube material and uploads regularly. Richard Pryor, Bill Hicks, Billy Connolly, Bill Bailey pre-Tinselworm, and my mind's gone blank now.

Alright , will give them a go later on tonight <ok>

Will let you know what I thought of a few of them tomorrow.

Only one I know from that list is Richard Pryor. What a legend he was.

Did anyone watch the Fairy Jobmother on channel 4 tonight?
I'm watching it on +1 atm and it's been hilarious!

Good taste sir, couldn't have recommended better choices myself!

If you're after a nostalgia vibe, the little waster/Bobby Thompson is quite funny (and currently very apt considering we're in a similar situation atm) but he doesn't have much material about unfortunately as he was rarely filmed. He's from the North East too so any non-native north easterners probably won't be able to understand him most of the time!

Will give him a go as well , cheers <ok>

I never usually find Russell Brand funny at all but I think he matures (to an extent) in certain routines or shows..
Anyway watch without prejudice because this is pretty funny imho :)

But yeah I second the Pryor/Carlin/Hicks suggestions
