Hope he starts small with a football league club and slowly becomes a Premier League manager. He lacks experience managing in the top flight and it would be good for him to start off by managing a League 1 or Championship club.

Eventually he will return to us for a second stint as Newcastle manager and he will lead us to glory <ok>

He's not being picky. Just doesn't want to drop himself into proper turmoil again.

He's not a manager and never will be IMO..
I'm afraid I don't think his man management is all there.
    We'll see.
I hope one day to be proven wrong.

I agree, I like the bloke and he's a legend in his own right but a good manager must have charisma.

Shearer has about as much charisma as an ironing board.

    this :(

If he was going into a coaching/management role, I'd love to see him here as striker coach. He might sort out Ranger's finishing...

That's why I believe Steven Gerrard will also never be a decent manager. They're like to peas in a pod. Carragher however, I also get the feeling Nolan would make a cracking manager in his own right.

    ^ That made no sense.

Gerrard also lacks charisma so I doubt he'll be a top flight manager, however I feel Carragher would be a great manager, he has the knowledge and the charisma to push a team! Which is why I feel Nolan would also be a top manager.
