On MOTD last night I'm sure I heard Alan Shearer say Harry must take some of the blame when discussing the situation we're in regarding old players and lots of players out of contract.
Did my ears deceive me last night or did Shearer really say "Harry must take some of the blame...." before mumbling something that I couldn't hear then Lineker talked over him......? Goal of the season was a farce as well, Phillips not even on the short list.......and all the Arsenal twitter users getting Little Jacks decent half volley chosen but nowhere near as good as some of the others including OBZ's...... I posted the above on the match day thread just before 10am this morning because I wasn't sure I heard him correctly.......
Well there is only one way to find out, for those like me who could not be bothered to watch... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b05x7x1s Last nights episode is not up yet but will be on BBCI-player (link above) later today. Fair play to Alan if he did mention Harold needing to take some responsibility.
Harry should take total responsibility, from transfers and loans to pre season and preparation he failed dismally on every count. I mean was he the only person on the planet who didn't believe Loic Remy at £8 million was a giveaway and wouldn't be snapped up? And to top it he quits the day after the deadline, I hope his knees rot...
He left us 6hrs after the window closed, which may have been TF playing hard ball with him too (but we were screwed over well and good by that.. but he also royally screwed up our loan option too From rumours that abound then...it was known that our Chileans would not play with Zarate. He left the next manager, we a numerically short, skill short bank of players. This is why I am giving CR every chance to pull round....because he and we were royally done by both the last two managers...Hughes who would not walk, and Arry who left us at possibly the worst possible time in the whole year
Yes Shearer first bloke to actually mention HRs 100% culpability.................SKY will never dis Arold
