I would like to see this letter 'supposedly' from the Club.
Also I'm not sure this has Meire's fingerprints on it - unless hers is the name on this letter.

Sounds more like something Wednesday's crackpot owner has thought up all by himself.
Challenging the loyalty of fans who would actually apply for their season ticket money back.

I have bought my last three season tickets knowing exactly where that money was going and who was running the Club I support.
But even if Charlton were bottom of League One right now and 11 points adrift of safety as Bury are, I would not be asking for my season ticket money back. How many Bury fans are demanding that?
Not many I would guess.

The way this has been announced is not accidental;
First the apparently generous offer from the owner, then several days later the unpleasant catch in a letter explaining the terms of the offer.

Seems calculated to offend those fans who had already decided to ask for their money back, and perhaps force some of them into a humiliating climb-down. Looks like Chansiri wants to go to war on those he sees as 'disloyal' fans, and does not mind if he splits the SW fan base in the process.

He should find Katrien Meire a useful lieutenant if that is his aim.

 

As CEO presumably she could have stopped it. Unless she is Chansari’s sock puppet, of course.

 

The original proposal was in place before she joined but this 'sting in the tail' has her paw prints all over it!

 

I don’t think she’s going to last that long at Wednesday. I reckon two years tops.

 

She’s a footballing leper, without a single redeeming feature.

Any Charlton fan making excuses for her makes me want to vomit.

 

Wednesday employed her because they are a basket case club. Not even our former CEO could wreak such havoc so quickly

There is already unrest with the fans. Squirrel face will see full scale protests soon.
