Any news on him after going off injured? Hopefully it's just precautionary with Huth not back yet, and although Ryan went off limping a little, he didn't seem to be in much pain.
I'm not sure Sandor I didn't see what happened to Ryan to cause it. I very much doubt he will play on Saturday tbh. Just for the record... We fookin missed KO and up to that hail storm. We we're walking from the car park when it let loose. I'll tell you guys. It bloody hurt like hell too. What I did see of the game, best team won simples. ANYONE else on here get caught in that CHAOS from A500/A50,, the Police did **** all to sort it, there we're hundreds who like us missed a fair portion of the game. WELL as Denis Smith said.. there are queues along the roads leading to the Stadium. DELAY the KO then? IF not for SKY I think SCFC would have. Barstewards are Sky. End of Rant
You're probably right Potts, in the old days the kick-off would have been delayed, I've known that to happen on a few occasions to enable supporters to get in the ground. TV rules these days though.
I watched it on Sky, but was getting ready for work so missed odd bits towards the end, didn't see what happened to Shawcross, but I don't remember seeing any replays of him going into anyone, just saw it showing him sat down, feeling his thigh/ groin area, which is what gave me hope it was just precautionary bringing him off.
Hi I was late on Wednesday night. Train delay and £10 taxi got me in at 8:15 when they were off for the storm. Re Shawcross I think he must have done as he was running back from a corner. I do not know but suggest he may have just over stretched. I doubt he will play and am concerned how we will copy with the physical presence of Benteke. At this stage I will be happy with a point but three would be bloody marvellous given the upcoming games against Newcastle, Spurs, Everton and Liverpool!!!!!! Here's hoping. Ps I will be upstairs in Deliahs from about 12:45 tomorow on the table by the window at the far end if anybody fancies a pint.
