Shaw injured!!

Luke Shaw withdrawn from England u18s squad because of injury from the last u21s game. Feel very sorry for him. What a time to get injured!

 

He's not had a good season injury/illness wise

 

I am beginning to think that the footballing gods have turned against us after the last few years.

I don't disagree with you but I thought he had an interesting (and positive) theory on this occasion.

 

Injured or not, I am slightly surprised that he would go to the U18 squad anyway. But like the Daily Echo, Nick has decided to go with "speculation is rife", when he actually means "I am speculating".

 

I am so proud...if true, we are now so important that we can withdraw a player from an international squad. We are practically Man United

Shaw is definetely injured I'm afraid but to what extent I haven't heard. Here's the tweet from the official saints twitter page at the time:
