Dont no about anyone else but ive thought he's looked poor ever since the Wolves game really. He started really brightly with a MOTM performance against Newcastle but since then I think he's been one of our worse midfielders. Most of it is due to him lacking in confidence, however he's now looking really hesistant to run and attack the defence. It is was shown perfectly at the Stoke game where we had a 3 on 2 and instead of running to draw a defender, he looked up, stalled and got tackled. I think once he gets a goal he'll be fine and back to his form against Newcastle, but certainly for the next game I'd prefer to see him on the bench at the start and then brought on for the last 20 minutes when the defence gets tired to really run at them and get his confidence back up

No end product at the moment, he'll come good, needs a goal.

lets not forget that players such as SWP, Barton, Troare have only been with us 5 minutes. This is still their settling in period. Luke Young has done well getting to goals, they to be honest are a bonus rather than the norm. Will also expect Taarabt to go on a scoring run once he forces his way into starting.

Lets be patient with the new signings and let them settle

This is the concern that I expressed when he first signed. I am not convinced that he will produce on a consistent basis. There will be moments of magic but just not enough is my fear. As I said at the time, I would be delighted to be proven wrong.

This is beginning to look more and more unlikely. Gone in January I'd say and what a shame, I was so looking forward to him lighting up the Premiership.

I think he's done pretty well. He's a good outlet and retains the ball well for us.

I'd have put him wide right yesterday to have a proper go at Tierney but I think he's played the free role adequately.

Not convinced by him tbh. No end product and, as yet, no goals. Still, must give him more time I guess.

Credit to Scott. West ham move made him, he would not have made it at a big 4 club at that stage.

NoW he is threatening to turn spurs into a big 5 club

Patience is a virtue, he will come good, thats there's one thing that really bugs me about being a Ranger,we get a new player build him up and if he's not doing it after 5 minutes we get the "i never really thought he would do it brigade" give the bloke a chance he one of the few bits of real quality we have,

im not i never really thought he would do it as i rate him as a player, its just in comparison with the other players in our midfield/attack and also with how well we all know he can play, he has underachieved so far. I think he will come good and be one of our best players by the end of the season. However at this moment in time he is not playing particularly well and I think he should be dropped to the bench for a game or 2. Its like bothroyd, he started the season poorly, got dropped and now that he has scored, he's got some confidence and has started to play better

whilst I maybe wrong about Taarabt (staying and scoring or just staying), in my heart of hearts I believe he owes it to himself (and to us, NW, TF and even his old boss Harry Redknapp) to prove he can be a top class player.
If he could learn anything, he would still be reading the tributes paid to Gary Speed R.I.P. and learn that sometimes your positive actions on the field earn you respect from your fellow professionals and fans alike.
