Absolute disgrace,he did a fine job there with no money at all.I would like to see him come here,as part of a backroom staff including Clint. Most importantly I would like to see Gareth Ainsworth appointed manager,he's done an amazing job at Wycombe and has more experience than Ramsey. These 3 guys bleed blue and white, and there would certainly be no lack of passion. The rebuild should start with these appointments!

Appointments driven by emotion are always risky imo

Not a bad call. Gazza should certainly be on the list of candidates to be seriously considered, and Clint and Sean would help make a solid team. Whether TF would be brave enough though is debatable. Since neither he nor the Mittals really understand football management, they may play safe and go for another "name".

Does anyone have any insights on Derry or Ainsworth's tactics and style of play?

We call for managers to be sacked with a lot of emphasis on these two criteria so I would be useful to know what they're like in advance.

I suspect we're working on a list of famous "name" managers but it's just a different list to the one the board have been using.

If all we wanted was a bit of passion from the players then Ramsey still wouldn't be that far off but in all likelihood we'd still have Warnock in charge.

No emotion involved, strictly based on his performance since becoming Wycombe manager. This guy has form and experience now, which is more than the current incumbent has!

Y'all should know. Ainsworth managed us twice and he was sh*t both times. I know the Mob were on his case but lets cut the bullsh*t.

Wild Thing was wildly rubbish both times he was our manager!

While I think it would be unfair to judge a manager on his fledgling efforts in a chaotic period of manager rotation some 6 or so years ago, I was playing slightly dumb to make the point that, unless there are some die-hards of the lower leagues in our midst, we really don't know what we'd be signing ourselves up to.

Anyone from this forum would have passion but it doesn't make any of us great managers.

Well, anyone except me - I can clearly play dumb a bit too well! :)

Quite the caretaker they have lined up - seems like they were a bit unlucky today to concede a late goal in a 2-2 draw against relegation rival Scunthorpe.

Notts County: Paul Hart takes interim charge of League One club
Ex-Nottingham Forest manager Paul Hart and academy coach Mick Halsall have been put in temporary charge of Notts County, BBC Radio Nottingham reports.

Halsall and 61-year-old Hart, who was interim academy boss, have taken over after Shaun Derry's sacking on Monday.

Notts are just one place above the League One relegation zone, above the bottom four on goal difference only.

They had hoped to appoint a new manager before facing fellow strugglers Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

Notts have won just three games in 24 league matches since November.

the names mentioned here, Shaun Derry and Gareth Ainsworth would be ideal people to have at QPR. With Clint in the twilight of his career maybe we could potentially have three people in the backroom. Les F has spoken of the fact that we have tended to give veterans a final pay day, so maybe all these people combined along with Chris Ramsay should be given the opportunity here. I know that Ramsay inherited a HR squad, but regardless of the division we find ourselves in next year I believe that things could be bright as long as we look to give the kids a chance. The famous Hanson quote of never winning anything with kids seemed to forget that the kids play without fear, and that if they all come through the under 21's reserves etc and are used to playing with each other then maybe there is a bright future. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Rangers sign players such as Sanchez or Fabregas but I don't see that day happening soon. Maybe finding the extra cash, sign players such as Palaces Bolasie (who we initially had on trial) rather than let them escape.

I know Gaz has done a really good job this season but didn't they stay up by the skin of their teeth last season? Might have been on the last day if memory serves me right. Whilst I'm all up for giving someone a chance, and despite being a massive fan of him as a player I'm not yet convinced with him takin up the reigns and sadly fairytales are just that. However I would love for him to continue where he is and have a look, if the situation is there, after another year or two
