I want a stadium that we can call ours. 'oh look that's qpr's stadium' Not, 'oh look, that's qpr's and fullhams and that rugby teams stadium' It wouldn't feel like we are playing at 'home'
He meant the poll was crystal clear. The last poll was unclear, hence the title says (re-posted) Sharing with them NO FREKIN WAY lol
Oh come on Wubba - the ideal would be to redevelop Loftus Road, but that is likely to be impossible and , despite the atmosphere, it is an embarrassment in terms of basic comfort and facilities. I will hate to leave it, but if we don't (and I reckon it will take at least five years and as others have said depend on a lot of factors especially staying up with stable ownership) it will indicate that we are a championship/league one club.
I've voted no, but does it make sense in the current financial climate to have a stadium sitting unused every other week? It works OK in other parts of Europe, can't say I like the idea, but may be the way forward.
I remember how outraged I was at the F.P.R. stupidness and the state of the pitch in the wasps days. Both these have put me right off sharing. I don't mind a new ground, (although I will alway have a soft spot for LR,) but I wouldn't want to share it. It would be hard to play the ball on the deck type of football we all want when the ball can't roll along the floor because it looks like a divited field.
I love Loftus RD, it's all ive known. I'm too young to remember the old White City stadium and would love to take my(soon to be born) son to LR for his first game in the coming years. I understand we will need a bigger stadium to help to become self sufficient but i will be devastated when that day comes!!
