There aren't many people that i respect in the world, but one who i do is my grandad, the story's he tell me of how things were back in his day and what he used to do, i love how he calls my generation the thumb generation as its the only thing we use, the other day he told me a story of how he and his mates used to walk miles to go to this lake, it would take them a day to get there and when they did they would set up a camp and sleep for the night, play in the lake the next day and walk home, if someone told me to walk all day to sleep in the woods and play in a dirty lake then walk all the way back i'd tell them where to shove it, i suppose that's the difference between the 2

So simply post a story below that makes you happy. It dosent have to be football related so have a go <ok>
 
p.s sorry there's no match thread haven't had the time to do it, so basically couldn't be arsed plus derby have no fans to join in on here
 
i got a story that i didn't find happy at the time but lookin back it funny

when i was three i broke my arm i didn't know so i went to my dad about an hour later and said oww my arm hurts so he rolled up my sleeve and said right erm we best get you to the hospital
 
i remember when i broke my arm, i was in school and were playing a game where you had to run to starbort, port or something like that well i tripped over my teachers foot and when we got to the hospital i wanted it to be broke so i could have a cast.... weird child
